Kitchen Sink

Talented New Zealand artists, Alison Maclean (director) and Bridget Ikin (producer, Hibiscus films) released this classic short film Kitchen Sink in 1989.

Since Kitchen Sink Maclean has directed several highly acclaimed films and television programs: films include Crush (1992), Jesus’ Son (1999), Subway Stories (1997), Persons of Interest (2004), and episodes of popular Television series such as Sex in the City, The Tudors, Gossip Girl.

Ikin has produced many outstanding films and television programs, including Maclean’s ‘Crush’, Jane Campion’s ‘An Angel At My Table’, Clara Law’s “Floating Life”, Rolf de Heer’s ‘The Tracker’, Sarah Watt’s ‘Look Both Ways’.
